| Humanist Celebrant for non-religious ceremonies |
|
Being an ex youth worker I've often thought that there was a need in this country for a non-religious ceremony marking the passing from childhood into their teen age. In the Jewish faith this is called a bar mitzvah but there are similar ceremonies around the world. I'm sure there are plenty of other ceremonies for different occasions that you may have thought of. You may also like to celebrate with a ceremony the adoption of a much wanted child, even if they have had a naming ceremony or a christening. The adoption of a child is something which we traditionally don't hold a ceremony for, so maybe you'd like to acknowledge the adoption as a special event through a ceremony in front of family and friends. If there is something that you would like to create a ceremony for please feel free to contact me.
